Rotterdam Coffee Fest & Coffeecompany are teaming up to bring you a Latte Art Throwdown on November 6th! Get ready for a night of stunning pours, great coffee, and friendly competition.
Think you’ve got what it takes to out-pour 48 other baristas? This is your shot to show what you’re made of, and who knows, you might just walk away with the win (and a great prize).
We’re working with the gorgeous ‘throw-it-down cards designed by Naomi Doedelz. Every round, you’ll draw a card and get judged on how well you execute the pattern it shows. So dust off your pitchers and get ready to pour your heart out. See you on the 6th!
How it’ll go down:
Round 1: 48 competitors - 4 competitors per bracket (12 brackets) - 18:30–19:30
Round 2: 12 competitors - 2 competitors per bracket (6 brackets) - 19:45–20:30
Semifinal Round: 6 semifinalists - 2 competitors per bracket (3 brackets) - 20:45–21:15
Final Round: 3 competitors (1 bracket) - 21:30–21:45
Awards ceremony & drinks - 22:00–23:00
Rules:
1 shot of coffee + dairy milk
You get one shot to pour your latte art and present it to the judges
There will be jury guidance during the event
What pattern you pour will be a surprise, determined by which card you draw from Naomi’s deck
In the final round, you pour your best freepour design
Prizes:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive (really spectacular 🤫) prizes sponsored by Espresso Service West. Reveal coming soon.

Spectators may join for free, just RSVP below so we know you’re coming
A Rotterdam Coffee Fest ticket is not required to join this event.
