See Rotterdam differently - camera in hand, coffee along the way β
Join Velvet Hours x Rotterdam Coffee Fest for a relaxed urban photowalk exploring the city through atmosphere, light, details and everyday moments.
Not only will you get to meet and mingle over shared interests of coffee and photography, but also see Rotterdam through the guided lens of one of our most beloved urban photographers, Nadiya (@nadsflavors).
This year RCF is broadening its program of events, including how coffee shapes connections formed among Rotterdam's iconic sights.
Together we'll wander through some of Rotterdam's most scenic streets and corners, looking beyond the obvious sights to find the little things that make the city feel like itself - from architecture and reflections to passing moments, textures and (of course!) a good coffee stop along the way π Tickets include one coffee or tea at Evermore, a cozy spot tucked away in Coolhaven.
This walk is an invitation to slow down, observe and get a little more curious about the city around you.
We'll explore:
Finding interesting moments in everyday scenes
Playing with composition, light and perspective
Capturing the mood and feel of a place, not just the landmark
Seeing familiar streets with fresh eyes
Connecting over photography, coffee and Rotterdam
No professional camera needed. Bring whatever you like to shoot with (phone, favorite camera, a disposable mini - the choice is yours). Be ready to get in those steps, photograph, chat and explore.
Expect a scenic route, creative prompts, photography tips, good conversations and a little caffeine along the way β
Note: there will be 2 photowalks hosted by Nadiya on November 5th. In case you can't make it to this one at 11:00, check out the other walk planned later the same day.
A Rotterdam Coffee Fest ticket is not required to join this event.
